The files in this zip file are:

"Prema 6048 Feb 2018 EPROM.bin" (Raw binary format)
"Prema 6048 Feb 2018 EPROM.hex" (Intel hex format)
	"Prema 6048 Feb 2018 EPROM.txt" (this file)

The checksum of the EPROM image files should be:

 0037 9DC4 (4 byte checksum), or
 9DC4 (2 byte checksum)

The image is of an EPROM that was sent to me by Prema with the most up to date (as at February 2018)
version of the firmware for the Prema 6048 8.5 digit multimeter (TMS27C256).

This rom image does not contain the original factory calibration data for any meter. The section of
the EPROM from x'4000' to x'47FF' which normally holds the original factory calibration data for a
particular meter is instead filled with x'FF'.

You can modify these images (using a hex editor) to contain the calibration data for your meter by
copying the calibration data from

	a) The NVRAM if you want the EPROM to contain your current calibration data.
	b) From address x'4000' to x'47FF' inclusive from the image of your original EPROM
if you want it to contain the original factory calibration data.

Have fun
